Duane became a devoted follower of Christ at the age of sixteen while attending a David Wilkerson youth rally back in September 1985.  A year after his conversion he felt that his life could be best spent serving the Lord in full time ministry, and in 1989 began attending Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough, (now called Master’s College) graduating with a Bachelor of Theology with a Pastoral Major in 1993.  Duane became an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada in May 2000.

Duane has served as an assistant pastor in the areas of children’s ministry, Jr. & Sr. High student ministry, young adults, small groups, altar counselling, and church administration.  He has also been involved with small term missions endeavours as well as community outreach events in the Etobicoke area and the Jane and Finch corridor.

Duane was raised mostly in Mississauga and Brampton, is a big hockey fan, and has a great interest in certain areas of pop culture.

Charlene’s Christian spiritual journey began at the age of nine but was heavily impacted by her Christian summer camp experiences in her middle teen years.  A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Charlene soon found herself on Canadian soil in 1994, initially pursuing a degree in psychology at the University of Guelph but soon finding herself enrolling at Tyndale College and Seminary, where she graduated with a Master’s of Divinity with a Counselling Major in May 1997.  Charlene is a licensed credential holder with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.

Charlene’s talents and abilities have allowed her opportunities to serve as a high school teacher, youth choir director, children’s pastor, Christian primary school teacher, worship pastor, and currently as an employee of a call in counselling centre in Mississauga.  Charlene also recorded a CD called “Unchanging” in October of 2007.

Charlene is an avid reader of the Bible and other materials dealing with subjects such as prayer and leadership development.

Duane and Charlene have been married for just over ten years and have two precocious, cute, and wonderfully delightful children!
